Everyday care
- Hand wash with warm water and a mild soap; avoid harsh or abrasive detergents..
- Rinse and dry thoroughly after each use. Do not leave to soak or air dry wet.
- Dishwasher and microwave use is not recommended, as repeated heat cycles can affect the glaze over time.
Natural variations
Because these pieces are handmade, small natural irregularities in texture, colour, or surface detail are normal and part of what makes each piece unique. Photos are taken in natural light to represent colours as accurately as possible, though pieces may appear slightly different in person.
Some pieces feature crackled glaze, pinholes or areas where the glaze sits more thinly over the clay. This is a characteristic of the firing process and the handmade nature of each piece.
A note on durability
Stoneware is dense and durable, while earthenware is a little more delicate by nature. Like all ceramics, both can chip or crack if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces. With gentle care, they'll serve you well for a long time.
